Why this matters: our read
A private owner-operator adding a recent build in a wine-country market is a single-asset purchase rather than a platform move. How the mixed unit offering fares against local supply, and whether the building is leased up, stay open.
Andover Properties, a New York-based private real estate investment firm, said in a news release distributed by PR Newswire on November 3, 2026, that it has acquired a self storage facility in Napa, California. The details come from the company’s own news release and have not been independently verified.
Andover said the property is at 400 Devlin Road in South Napa, near Highway 29 and Napa County Airport. Built in 2021, it has 666 units on more than seven acres, with about 94 thousand net rentable square feet. The company said the mix covers wine lockers with climate control, drive-up units that have automatic doors, and commercial office space on site. The release names no seller and gives no price or occupancy figures.
Andover said the facility will operate under its Storage King USA brand and draw on its in-house operating team. According to the release, the firm ranks among the largest private self storage owner-operators in the United States, with more than 180 facilities across 20 states and over 15 million square feet.
